When I shuffled and selected ‘Today’s Card’, my mind was focussed the positive things in life. The things that make us smile and laugh, the things we cherish the most … While these selected cards are an opportunity to show random (or not so random) cards from my deck to talk a little more about; it was still exciting to discover that the card for today was indeed a positive and happy card:

When I painted The Sun, I wanted to capture the feeling of warmth and light you get when the sun is shining on your face. A sense that everything is good and well, and there are happy times ahead. As a positive force; The Sun is central, vital and full of life-giving energy. She radiates warmth and confidence, while conveying a sense of clarity; being completely in the ‘here and now’.
What a lovely card to have picked on such a lovely day. It is so interesting that we are actually completely in tune with what is happening in our lives, but sometimes (much of the time) we choose to not see the obvious.
I agree, to me the Sun is vital, I like to see it every day to remind me to make happy choices :)
